Amitabh not an Indian claims Pakistani


Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan may not be Indian after all, if the claims of a Pakistani man are to be believed.

Jaffar Hussain, a resident of Nawanpind, Faisalabad (Pakistan), claims that Bachchan is his younger brother, according to a Geo News report.

Hussain says Bachchan, accompanied by one Amir Badshah, fled to Karachi and then crossed the border into the Indian port city of Mumbai when he was 14 years old.

He even claims that Bachchan’s ‘real name’ is Subh Sadiq and their father Abdul Haq, a goldsmith, had filed a complaint against Badshah in 1963.

According to Hussain, Bachchan always displayed a keen interest in films.

Bachchan, born on October 11, 1942, in Allahabad, is the eldest son of Harivansh Rai Bachchan, a renowned Hindi poet, and Teji Bachchan, who hailed from Faisalabad.

He schooling took place in Gyana Prabodhini and Boys High School, Allahabad and Sherwood College, Nainital. He graduated from Kirorimal College, Delhi University. Before coming to Mumbai and taking up an acting career, Bachchan was working in Bird and Co in Kolkata.
