FIRST LOOK posters of 'Bodyguard' features Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor
Here's the FIRST LOOK of the most awaited movie of the season -- BODYGUARD. The Salman Khan - Kareena Kapoor starrer is expected to storm the cinemas worldwide on 31 August, on the festive occasion of Eid. A lot is riding on this film, more so after Salman delivered three gigantic hits, WANTED, DABANGG and READY.

Bodyguard (Hindi: माई लव स्टोरी) is an upcoming Hindi romantic action film directed by Siddique. A remake of the director's own 2010 Malayalam film, Bodyguard, the film is being produced by Atul Agnihotri and features Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles.Bodyguard is scheduled for release on August 31, 2011.It also features Katrina Kaif in an item-number.

FIRST LOOK: Salman & Katrina's next Yash Raj film "EK THA TIGER"
After months of media speculation, it's official now!
Yash Raj Films is pleased to announce its next project. Directed by Kabir Khan and Produced by Aditya Chopra, the romantic-thriller "EK THA TIGER", stars Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
Yash Chopra, speaking about the project, said it was a very happy moment for him. "Everyone knows my association with Salim saab, having worked together on Deewaar, Trishul and Kaala Patthar. It is a very happy moment for me and YRF to have his son Salman with us for the first time. Over the years, Salman has become a very matured and talented actor and both he and the beautiful Katrina have a tremendous connect with their audiences. Combined with Kabir's edgy directorial skills, we can all look forward to a thrilling film. I really loved the script which is based on a story written by Adi and I am sure that the whole team will do an excellent job on this project."
Salman Khan was also honoured to be working with YRF for the first time. He said, “In the past Adi and I have met a few times on various projects but somehow, when Kabir and he came to me with this particular story, we all just knew that this was the one. It is a very ambitious project and will be a challenge for all of us, but that's exactly what makes it such a big draw. Above all this, I’m honoured to be working with Yashji, who has worked so closely with my Dad in the past.”"
The story is by Aditya Chopra and the Screenplay & Dialogues have been written by Kabir Khan and Neelesh Misra. Aseem Mishra, who has worked with Kabir on New York, will be the DOP. The music will be scored by Pritam.
The film starts shooting early July and is slated for a mid-2012 release

"Yes, I'm doing Kabir Khan's film with Katrina kaif" - Salman Khan
"I don't want to wear red underwear outside to be a Super Man, I just want to be Sal-Man," Salman Khan famously said at the music launch of Ready recently. In a Bollywood Hungama Exclusive Video Interview, Khan put the record straight once-n-for-all by saying, "Ya I am doing Kabir Khan's film." Is it a super hero film? "No, it is not a super hero film. It is a hero's film," Salman said. On being asked if Katrina Kaif is paired with him in Kabir Khan's film, Salman nodded in affirmation.
Promos of Khan's forthcoming film Ready have been creating waves and the film is one of the most eagerly awaited movies post the IPL. Salman has been personally taking keen interest in ensuring that the film is high on the entertainment quotient. In fact, two songs, 'Character Dheela' and 'Dhinka Chika' have been re-shot because he wasn't happy with what was shot in Bangkok. Is this streak of perfection, courtesy friend Aamir? "Yaar, mere saath thodi not perfect cheezein chalti hain. Aamir ke saath perfect cheezein chalti hain. For me it's never the perfect thing, it's more spontaneous. I heard the audio, I saw the visual, and I thought the visual didn't match up. There's no strategy. I just wanted the song to be slightly better and we got that," Salman said

Yashraj finally Signs Salman Khan
Yashraj finally signs Salman KhanYashraj Movies have finally succeeded in striking a deal with hunk Salman Khan after the latter last refused to do Chak De India for YRF.
A close friend of Sallu says, “Salman was the first actor to be approached for Chak De India! But while he loved the script he had suggested changes in the film’s climax. He wanted the final match of the hockey tournament be played between India and Pakistan.
He felt that then story would come full circle. But Adi didn’t budge and both parted ways amicably. Shah Rukh Khan was then signed on for the role. But Salman is now looking forward to the YRF project being written and directed by Victor (Acharya).”
Now Sallu miyan is part of YRF with the director of dud flick Tashan directing him.
A source says, “Vijay Krishna Acharya writer of the Dhoom series who made his debut last year with YRF’s Tashan is making his second film with YRF.
Salman Khan, R.Madhavan and Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishen are the male leads finalized for the same while the female leads are yet to be finalized. The film is supposedly a whacky action comedy that will go on floors in the second half of 2009.”
Well all wells that ends well for our Sallu Miyan.
